










Light shines through a canopy of old oak trees covered in Spanish moss on the oldest plantation in Georgia. There are over 400 live oak trees on this plantation all 300-400 years old.

There's something special about hiking through the forest and hearing the waterfall before you see it. This time it was such an amazing reveal with the lush, vibrant green all around and this pocket waterfall. I took more than a few moments to just sit back and take this one in before I even broke out my camera.

The McKenzie River plunges 100 feet over a natural lava damn at Sahalie Falls. The Chinook name 'Sahalie' means heaven, which this little slice of of the Willamette National Forest certainly appears to be.

Fall Creek Falls is a beautiful set of cascading falls. There are actually 4 separate falls that tumble over 200 feet in total which make it one of the largest and most powerful waterfalls in the state.


An Atlantic Puffin gazing out from its perch in the cliffs of Dyrhólaey in southern Iceland. The adorable birds nest here and can be seen during the months of June through August while tending to their young.

The Florida coast offers some beautiful sunset scenes. This one is near the Loxahatchee River where the red 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse offers stunning views but with the colorful clouds, setting sun, and rushing water, I was pretty stuck on this view.
